Coral Springs receives NatureScape Broward Emerald Award

The City of Coral Springs has been awarded the annual NatureScape Emerald Award under the Government/School/Municipality category by Broward County. This award recognizes Coral Springs for its native plant species, beautification and environmentally friendly irrigation system at the ArtWalk and Fire Station 71.

The award will be presented to the City of Coral Springs at the Broward County Water Matters Day on Saturday, March 12 at 9 a.m. at Tree Tops Park in Davie. Water Matters Day is held annually to make the connection between our daily activities and the impact they have on our water resources and natural environment.

The Emerald Award Program recognizes, honors and promotes sustainable NatureScape landscape in Broward County for their efforts to protect the environment. For additional information about this program, visit www.Broward.org/Naturescape and click on Emerald Award.
