The City of Parkland has something for everyone in December!

From small events for kids to the largest Farmers’ Market in Broward County, there are events that cater to Parkland residents and attract people from throughout the tri-county area.

Saturday, December 5th: Eats ‘N Beats, 5:30pm-9:30pm, Pine Trails Park Amphitheatre.

Sunday, December 6th: Parkland Farmers’ Market and Craft Show, 9:00am-1:00pm, Equestrian Center at Temple Park.

Saturday, December 12th: Drive-In Movie, 8:00pm, Equestrian Center at Temple Park.

Thursday, December 17th: Snowfest, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Terramar Park.

Sunday, December 20th: Parkland Farmers’ Market, 9:00am-1:00pm, Equestrian Center at Temple Park.

Christmas Eve: City Hall and Parkland Library are open, Parks are open until 6:00pm, solid waste and recyclables are not affected.

Christmas Day: City Hall and Parkland Library are closed, Parks are open until 6:00pm, solid waste and recyclables will not pick-up.

Saturday, December 26th: Parkland Library closed.

New Year’s Eve: City Hall and Parkland Library are open, Parks are open until 6:00pm, solid waste and recyclables are not affected.

Parkland Native & Chicago Cubs Baseman Anthony Rizzo to Hold Fourth Annual Walk-Off

Join Mlb All-star, Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo  For His Fourth Annual Walk-off For Cancer Hosted By The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation In Parkland, Florida On November 15, 2015 at 8:30am.

The event will consist of a 5K walk, entertainment and refreshments from local merchants, exciting raffle prizes and special guest appearances from local dignitaries and celebrities. Anthony will be in attendance during the entire event. This event is family friendly and is appropriate for all ages to attend.  Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Family Reach and families battling cancer.
